Growing up, my mom always had a love for crafting, creating, and anything vintage. She would always help me with any hobby that I decided to try, no matter if it lasted or not. She has always had an appreciation for vintage fabrics and quilts. And so have I! I guess you could say it was a natural love I adopted from her - not only quilts, but vintage & antique items in general. If you know anything about me, you know I love a good yard sale, estate sale, thrift store, or antique trip.

Crafting has always been a passion of mine, and now, through Opal & Grace, I can finally bring my creations to life and share them with you all. Being able to sell my pieces feels like a beautiful way to combine my love for creating with my faith. I’ve always known I wanted to share my heart through my work, and this is my way of doing just that.

Sewing is a really special space for me and my relationship with the Lord. After putting my faith in the Lord, I’ve taken the leap to share my love for sewing and vintage quilts with the world. This journey has been filled with the incredible support from my family and friends, and I’m beyond grateful for each and every one of you, more than you could ever know.

And I want to give all my thanks the Lord for giving me the strength and courage to truly pursue my dreams. All of this is such a testament to Romans 8:28!!

He has shown me a creative side of myself that I always knew deep down I had. As I create my hand-designed and intentional pieces, I am so beautifully reminded that is who He is. He’s the most intentional of all. The ultimate creative & Creator. And if we trust Him, He really does work it all out for our good and His glory!
